LIS Links (http://www.lislinks.com) is a dedicated and essential resource for the Library and Information Science (LIS) community across India that connect a growing community of over 31,000 members. It consistently provides time-sensitive, critical professional development information like career (job vacancies) and professional growth opportunities (seminars/ workshops/ conferences) in the Library and Information Science sector in India. Since the launch in January 2008, it has empowered LIS professionals by providing the essential tools and connections that enable them to connect with peers, mentors, and industry leaders and stay at the forefront of the LIS profession.
LIS Links Newsletter (http://newsletter.lislinks.com) is a modest, community-driven publication of LIS Links. It is a peer-reviewed publication dedicated to advancing research, practice, and discourse in Library and Information Science (LIS) and related disciplines.
In alignment with recent strategic evaluations and our ongoing mission to enhance global inclusivity, academic impact, and international visibility, we are actively broadening the geographical diversity of our leadership. Therefore, to meet the new requirement, we are specifically seeking enthusiastic, active members of the international scientific and academic community who are currently holding academic or professional positions outside India and the USA.
Applicants should have a solid publication record in Library and Information Science or closely related fields and a strong commitment to fostering global academic collaboration.
